ChatGPT reaches your Odoo through the same MCP connector as Claude. Only the location of the settings differs.

Prerequisites

an active Aidoo account, 14-day free trial included
an Odoo connection configured in your Aidoo dashboard
a ChatGPT account with access to connectors

No API key to handle

Authentication runs through OAuth. You sign in to Aidoo from ChatGPT and authorize access in one click. Nothing to copy, nothing to store.

Add the connector

Open connectors

In ChatGPT: Settings → Connectors → Create.

Fill in the connector

Authorize access

Click Create. You are redirected to the Aidoo sign-in page. Sign in, pick the workspace to authorize, then Authorize.

What are my 5 latest quotations in Odoo?

ChatGPT works out it needs Aidoo, asks you to approve the call, queries your Odoo and shows the result. If you see your real quotations, everything works.

Several companies

A connector stays bound to the workspace chosen during authorization. To query several Odoo instances in one conversation, create one connector per workspace using a different URL each time: https://mcp.aidoo.ai/mcp, then /mcp-2, /mcp-3, /mcp-4, /mcp-5.

These addresses all point to the same service and behave identically. Give each connector a descriptive name so you can tell them apart.

What ChatGPT can do

Exactly what Claude can: the thirteen Aidoo tools are exposed the same way, with the same permissions and the same guardrails.

One difference in practice: ChatGPT tends to be more decisive when a request is ambiguous. Spell out the period and the status you mean.

Troubleshooting

The connector does not appear in the conversation

Open a new conversation. Then check under Settings → Connectors that its status is active.

The OAuth redirect fails

Temporarily disable pop-up blockers and tracking extensions. Make sure you are signed in to your Aidoo account in the same browser, and that your subscription is active: an expired trial blocks authorization.

"Couldn't reach the MCP server"

Check that https://mcp.aidoo.ai/health responds from your network. The connector URL is https://mcp.aidoo.ai/mcp.

Odoo connection error

The cause is in Aidoo, not in ChatGPT. Open Odoo connection and run Test connection. See Connect your Odoo.
