Each recipe is a prompt to copy as-is. The read-only ones work with a fresh key; those carrying a warning need a write permission.

Adapt the vocabulary

These prompts use standard Odoo terms. If your database talks about "jobs" rather than "orders", use your own words: the assistant knows your schema and makes the connection. For a recurring ambiguity, encode the mapping in a hint.

Sales

The morning briefing

Give me the sales briefing: quotations sent this week, those awaiting an answer for more than 7 days, and orders confirmed since Monday with their amounts.

Deals going cold

Which quotations above €5,000 are still draft or sent for more than 15 days? Give me the customer, the amount, the date and the salesperson.

Team performance

Break down this quarter's confirmed order amounts by salesperson, and compare with the previous quarter.

A customer at a glance

Give me the full picture for customer Example Ltd: contact details, revenue over the last 12 months, open orders, unpaid invoices and the last recorded activity.

Chasing a quotation

Add a reminder activity in 3 days on quotation S00042, assigned to the customer's salesperson, with the subject "Quotation follow-up".

Requires create.

Accounting

Customer outstanding

List overdue unpaid customer invoices, sorted by age, with the customer, the amount still due and the number of days overdue.

Aged balance

Break down customer outstanding by age bracket: under 30 days, 30 to 60, 60 to 90, over 90.

Preparing a dunning run

Give me the five customers with the highest outstanding balance, and generate each one's account statement PDF.

Recording vendor bills

I have four vendor bills to record, can you digitize them for me?

Requires attach. The assistant sends you an upload link, see Attachments.

Consistency check

Are there any validated customer invoices this month with no associated sales order? List them with the amount and the customer.

Purchasing

Orders awaiting delivery

Which purchase orders are confirmed but not yet received, and what is their expected delivery date?

Late suppliers

Which suppliers have orders whose expected receipt date has passed? Give the number of days late and the amount involved.

Spend breakdown

Break down this year's purchases by supplier, and give me the top ten.

Inventory

Stockouts

Which products have an available quantity below their minimum stock? Give the product, the quantity on hand, the minimum, and any open purchase orders for that product.

Today's transfers

Which transfers are scheduled for today and which ones are late? Group by warehouse.

Dead stock

Which products have had no stock movement for 6 months while still being in stock? Give the quantity and the value.

Receiving

Validate receipt WH/IN/00123.

Requires execute. The action triggers Odoo's stock moves, see Writing to Odoo.

Management

The monthly dashboard

Give me the monthly picture: invoiced revenue, comparison with the previous month and with the same month last year, number of new orders, customer outstanding and unbilled backlog.

Seasonality

Give me invoiced revenue month by month over the last 24 months.

Product mix

Break down this year's revenue by product category, as a percentage of the total.

Customer concentration

What share of my annual revenue do my top ten customers represent?

Human resources

Upcoming absences

Which time-off requests are approved for the next four weeks? Group by department and flag the periods where more than two people from the same department are away.

Expense reports awaiting approval

Which expense reports are awaiting validation, for how long, and for what amount?

Projects

Project status

For each ongoing project: the number of open tasks, those overdue, and the hours logged compared with the hours sold.

Stalled tasks

Which tasks have had no activity for more than 14 days and are neither done nor cancelled?

Three habits that improve results

Bound the period and the status. The difference between a correct answer and a plausible one often comes down to a forgotten status: quotation versus order, draft versus validated.

Ask for the reasoning when a figure surprises you. "How did you compute that total?" reveals the exact filter in one sentence.

Save what you repeat. A recipe you replay every Monday deserves to become a workflow, with its variables. A recipe that should run without you deserves to become an agent.
